Description
A rich dessert pizza featuring a brownie base topped with white chocolate chips and nuts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (18.3 ounces) brownie mix
- Ingredients required by brownie mix box (usually eggs, oil, water)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing crust)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix directions, typically 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the brownie batter following the mix instructions.
- Press the brownie batter evenly onto the prepared pizza pan, forming a crust shape.
- Bake the brownie crust for the time specified on the box for a standard 9×13 pan, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs attached. This may take slightly longer than a standard pan.
- Remove the brownie crust from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the white chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over the hot surface.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the white chocolate chips are melted and soft. Do not overbake.
- Remove from the oven and brush the edges lightly with melted butter, if desired.
- Let the brownie pizza cool on the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can substitute any nuts you prefer or omit them entirely.
- For a gooey center, slightly underbake the brownie base before adding toppings.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
