- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the whipped cream while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg until combined.
- Gently fold the pumpkin mixture into the whipped cream until just blended. Do not overmix.
- Spoon the mousse into individual serving dishes.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use fresh pumpkin puree instead of canned.
- You can garnish the mousse with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a small dollop of extra whipped cream.
