Description
A straightforward recipe for rich, fudgy milk chocolate brownies.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat.
- Stir the sugar into the melted butter until combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the milk chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out with moist crumbs attached, not wet batter.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For extra fudginess, slightly underbake them by about 2 minutes.
- You can substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips for milk chocolate if you prefer a less sweet result.
