Description
A simple recipe for a grilled cheese sandwich filled with cream cheese and spicy jalapenos.
Ingredients

- 2 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 jalapeno slices, pickled
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Flip bread slices over. Spread cream cheese evenly on the unbuttered side of both slices.
- Layer cheddar cheese slices on one slice of bread. Top with jalapeno slices.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet and slice in half.
Notes
- Use fresh jalapenos instead of pickled for more heat.
- You can substitute Monterey Jack cheese for cheddar.
