Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak cubes in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding the pan. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  6. Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  7. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until steak reaches your desired doneness.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley, if using.
  9. Serve immediately.
