Description
Quick and easy steak bites bursting with garlic butter flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak cubes in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding the pan. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
- Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
- Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until steak reaches your desired doneness.
- Stir in chopped parsley, if using.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For medium-rare steak, aim for an internal temperature of 130-135°F (54-57°C).
- Adjust garlic amount to your preference.
- These steak bites are great as an appetizer or served over rice or pasta.
