Description
Quick and easy steak tips seared to perfection with garlic and butter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add steak cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until a deep brown crust forms. Work in batches if necessary.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
- As the butter melts, tilt the pan and spoon the garlic butter over the steak for 1-2 minutes until steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove steak from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
- For a medium-rare steak, aim for an internal temperature of 130-135°F (54-57°C).
- Adjust garlic quantity to your preference.
