Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the toasted hazelnuts, flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the softened butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand or a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can chop some of the toasted hazelnuts and mix them into the dough.
- Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
