Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
  4. Brush half of the honey garlic mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Brush the remaining sauce over the salmon during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  7. Sprinkle with black pepper before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute maple syrup for honey if desired.
