A simple recipe for baked salmon with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.

- 1.5 lb salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
- Brush half of the honey garlic mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Brush the remaining sauce over the salmon during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Sprinkle with black pepper before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute maple syrup for honey if desired.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce mixture.
