Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (12 inch)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the pizza crust package directions.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
- Spread the cooled chocolate mixture evenly over the pre-baked or raw pizza crust, depending on your crust instructions.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar and cocoa powder mixture over the chocolate layer.
- If using, distribute the chopped nuts and mini marshmallows over the top.
- Bake according to the crust directions, or until the edges are lightly browned and toppings are melted.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can substitute milk chocolate or dark chocolate for semi-sweet chips.
- For a thicker fudge layer, reduce the heavy cream slightly.
- Use your favorite cookie dough recipe if you prefer to make the crust from scratch.
