Description

Small, sweet bites made from croissant dough filled with cookie dough and baked until golden.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate the dough into 8 triangles.
  3. Flatten each triangle slightly with your fingers.
  4. Place about 1 teaspoon of cookie dough near the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough up tightly from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges well.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolled dough with the egg wash.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack.
