A simple recipe for a classic chicken Caesar sandwich.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 tablespoons Caesar dressing
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side, until fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the chicken thinly.
- Toast the sourdough bread slices.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of Caesar dressing on each slice of toast.
- Layer the sliced chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, and grated Parmesan cheese onto two slices of bread.
- Top with the remaining bread slices to form two sandwiches.
Notes
- You can grill the chicken instead of pan-frying it.
- Use store-bought or homemade Caesar dressing.
