Description

A fast recipe for soft cinnamon rolls using refrigerated biscuit dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a small baking dish.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough pieces. Place them close together in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
  4. Brush the tops of the biscuits evenly with the melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered biscuits.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  7. While the rolls bake, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  8. Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.

Notes

  • You can use cream cheese frosting instead of the simple glaze for a richer flavor.
  • For extra soft rolls, cover the dish loosely with foil for the first 10 minutes of baking.
