Description

A simple method for cooking a classic shrimp boil using only a sheet pan.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 pound small red potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, sausage, corn, and onion.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the oil mixture over the vegetables and sausage. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Spread the coated vegetables and sausage in a single layer on a large, rimmed baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the oven. Add the shrimp to the pan and toss gently with the other ingredients.
  8. Return the pan to the oven and roast for another 8 to 10 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  9. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • You can substitute other vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini.
