Description
A light and fruity white sangria perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup green grapes, halved
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda, chilled
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and simple syrup (if using). Stir well.
- Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, strawberries, and grapes to the pitcher.
- Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, add the chilled sparkling water or club soda.
- Serve the sangria over ice in wine glasses. Garnish with fresh fruit if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter sangria, increase the simple syrup. For a less sweet version, omit it.
- You can substitute other fruits like peaches, apples, or pineapple.
- Ensure all fruits are washed before slicing.
