  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the shredded red cabbage in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage.
  4. Toss everything together until the cabbage is evenly coated.
  5. Let the slaw sit for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a crunchier slaw, you can add 1/4 cup of finely chopped celery.
  • If you prefer a sweeter dressing, increase the sugar to 1 1/2 tablespoons.
