Description

Simple baked crescent rolls filled with pepperoni and cheese for a quick snack or meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 crescent roll dough sheets
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. Spread about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella cheese and a few pepperoni slices over the sauce.
  5. Roll each triangle up tightly, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can add a sprinkle of garlic powder or Italian seasoning before baking for extra flavor.
  • If you do not have mini pepperoni, you can chop regular pepperoni slices.
