Description

Simple recipe for roasting carrots with Parmesan cheese and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into uniform pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. Toss the cut carrots with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread the seasoned carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the carrots.
  6. Return the carrots to the oven and roast for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and the cheese is golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cut carrots into similar sizes for even cooking.
