- 1 pound Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove any loose or yellow outer leaves.
- Cut the sprouts in half lengthwise.
- Place the halved sprouts in a large bowl.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then toss again.
- Spread the sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Roast for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender inside and nicely browned on the outside.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, ensure the sprouts are dry before tossing with oil.
- You can add garlic powder or a splash of balsamic vinegar after roasting for added flavor.
