A rich and flavorful Thai peanut sauce perfect for dipping, drizzling, or marinating.
Ingredients

- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the peanut butter and warm water until smooth.
- Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or maple syrup, sesame oil, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Whisk until all ingredients are well combined and the sauce is smooth.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little more warm water, one teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Notes
- Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Thin with a little water or lime juice before serving if it thickens too much.
