Description
Crispy chicken tenders coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In another shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk.
- In a third shallow dish, place panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing to coat.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey and hot sauce. Cook for 1 minute, until combined.
- Toss the fried chicken tenders in the hot honey glaze until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
