Description

Crispy chicken tenders coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In another shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk.
  3. In a third shallow dish, place panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing to coat.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
  7. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey and hot sauce. Cook for 1 minute, until combined.
  8. Toss the fried chicken tenders in the hot honey glaze until evenly coated.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
