Description
A classic grape salad recipe inspired by Chicken Salad Chick, featuring a creamy dressing and sweet grapes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
- 2 cups seedless green grapes, halved
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for topping, optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the halved red and green grapes.
- In a separate medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the grapes until evenly coated.
- If using, stir in the chopped pecans or walnuts.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the salad to chill.
- Before serving, you can sprinkle with brown sugar if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter salad, you can increase the granulated sugar slightly.
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth dressing.
- This salad is best served chilled.
