Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the meatloaf bites generously with BBQ sauce.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the sauce is slightly caramelized.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the meat mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or a mix of ground beef and pork for the ground beef.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
