- 2 pounds chicken pieces (thighs or breasts)
- 1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until almost cooked through.
- Brush the chicken generously with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
- Continue grilling until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce is caramelized.
- Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
- You can also bake this chicken in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, brushing with sauce in the last 10 minutes.
