- 1 pork tenderloin (about 1 to 1.5 lbs)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.
- Rub the pork tenderloin all over with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the trivet inside the Instant Pot liner.
- Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the Instant Pot liner.
- Place the seasoned pork tenderloin on top of the trivet.
- Secure the lid and set the vent to sealing.
- Cook on Manual/Pressure Cook setting on High for 8 minutes.
- Allow for a Natural Pressure Release (NPR) for 5 minutes, then carefully switch the valve to venting to release any remaining pressure.
- Remove the pork tenderloin and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- You can use the liquid remaining in the pot to make a quick pan sauce if desired.
- For a deeper sear, brown the pork on the Sauté function before pressure cooking.
