Description
A quick recipe for tender steak mixed with noodles in a savory garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak slices with black pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Do not burn the garlic.
- Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Return the cooked steak and the drained noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles and steak are coated with the sauce.
- Stir in the chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
- Use a good quality steak for the best texture.
