A quick and easy shrimp stir fry with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add bell peppers and onion and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute other vegetables like broccoli, snap peas, or carrots.
