Ingredients

- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Place popcorn kernels and vegetable oil in a large pot with a lid.
- Heat over medium-high heat, shaking the pot occasionally, until popping slows to several seconds between pops.
- Remove from heat and let stand for a minute.
- In a small bowl, combine chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Pour the spice mixture over the popped popcorn.
- Drizzle with melted butter and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne pepper for desired heat level.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika.
