- 1 (16 ounce) pound cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 1 cup prepared vanilla pudding
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and chill until thickened, about 1 hour.
- In a large glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes.
- Top the pound cake with half of the whipped topping.
- Arrange half of the sliced strawberries and blueberries over the whipped topping.
- Spoon half of the vanilla pudding over the fruit.
- Repeat the layers: pound cake, whipped topping, strawberries, blueberries, and vanilla pudding.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For an extra festive touch, garnish with a few star-shaped sprinkles or a dollop of whipped cream.
- You can substitute angel food cake for pound cake if desired.
- Ensure all ingredients are well chilled before assembling for best results.
