Description
Easy-to-make sweet rolls filled with chocolate hazelnut spread.

- 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the Nutella evenly over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border on one long edge.
- Starting from the long edge opposite the border, tightly roll the dough into a log.
- Pinch the seam closed to seal the roll.
- Slice the log into 12 equal pieces, about 1 inch thick.
- Place the rolls cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between them.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.
- Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the egg wash.
- Sprinkle the granulated sugar evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can warm the Nutella slightly before spreading to make it easier to work with.
- If you prefer a glaze, mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon milk and drizzle over the warm rolls.
