A quick and delicious honey garlic chicken stir fry recipe perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add bell peppers and onion to the skillet and stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
- Stir and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli, snap peas, or carrots.
