- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and prick them several times with a fork.
- Place the sweet potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.
- While the sweet potatoes are baking, mix together the melted butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
- Once the sweet potatoes are baked, carefully remove them from the oven.
- Make a slit down the center of each sweet potato.
- Drizzle the honey-cinnamon mixture over the sweet potatoes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, you can add a sprinkle of brown sugar to the honey mixture.
