Ingredients

- 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dill seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
Instructions
- Combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Heat until sugar and salt dissolve. Let cool slightly.
- Pack sliced cucumbers, dill seeds, mustard seeds, peppercorns, and garlic into a clean jar.
- Pour the cooled brine over the cucumbers.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For spicier pickles, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Pickles will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
