Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, toss the chicken thighs with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
  4. Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 20 minutes.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs over.
  6. Increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) and cook for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the skin with cooking spray before the final cooking stage.
