A straightforward recipe for a baked cornbread casserole.

- 1 box (8.5 ounces) cornbread mix
- 1 can (15 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can (14.75 ounces) creamed corn
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cornbread mix, whole kernel corn, and creamed corn.
- Stir in the milk and melted butter until just mixed. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a slightly sweeter casserole, add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the batter.
- You can substitute buttermilk for regular milk for a tangier flavor.
