- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients gently until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form into patties about 3/4 inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove from skillet and serve immediately on buns or lettuce wraps.
Notes
- You can substitute panko breadcrumbs for regular breadcrumbs.
- For added flavor, add 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning to the mixture.
