Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (14.4 ounces) soft pretzel bites
- 2 medium apples, cored and sliced thinly
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the soft pretzel package directions, usually around 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Place the soft pretzel bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the pretzels until they are golden brown and cooked through, following package instructions for time.
- While the pretzels bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the apple slices to the melted butter and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- Remove the apples from the heat.
- Once the pretzels are baked, remove them from the oven.
- Dip or drizzle the warm pretzel bites generously with caramel sauce.
- Top each bite with a slice of cooked apple.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans, if using.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- You can use store-bought caramel dip instead of making your own sauce.
- Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast to the sweet caramel.
- If you prefer a crispier pretzel, bake them for a few extra minutes.
