Description

A simple, refreshing drink made from fresh blueberries, water, and sweetener.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup sugar or sweetener, adjust to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the blueberries, water, and sugar in a blender.
  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp. Press the solids gently to extract liquid.
  4. Stir in the lime juice.
  5. Taste and add more sugar or water if needed.
  6. Serve immediately over ice.

Notes

  • For a stronger blueberry flavor, let the strained liquid sit for 30 minutes before serving.
  • You can substitute the sugar with agave nectar or honey.
