- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 large apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the shredded chicken, celery, cheddar cheese, and chopped apple in a large bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
- Pour the dressing mixture over the chicken and apple mixture.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Gently mix all ingredients until evenly coated.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve this salad on lettuce leaves, bread, or crackers.
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for half the mayonnaise for a lighter version.
