- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-cup Bundt pan.
- In a small saucepan, reduce 1 cup of apple cider over medium heat until you have about 1/2 cup remaining. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and the reduced apple cider.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in the sour cream until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- To make the glaze, whisk together the 1/2 cup apple cider and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
- Immediately sprinkle the top of the wet glaze with the remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Notes
- For a stronger apple flavor, you can reduce the apple cider for the cake batter as well, using 1/4 cup reduced cider instead of 1/2 cup.
- Make sure the reduced cider is not hot when adding it to the batter, or it may affect the leavening agents.
