Description

Quick and easy recipe for tender steak bites cooked with mushrooms in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the steak cubes and mushrooms in a medium bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  5. Place the steak and mushroom mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Do not overcrowd the basket.
  6. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For medium-rare steak, aim for an internal temperature of 130-135°F (54-57°C).
  • You can substitute sirloin with tenderloin or ribeye.
