Description
A simple recipe for cooking a tender and juicy pork tenderloin in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pork tenderloin (about 1 to 1.5 lbs)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Rub the olive oil all over the pork tenderloin.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the entire surface of the pork.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the seasoned tenderloin in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 18 to 25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the tenderloin.
- Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should read 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part.
- Remove the pork from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For best results, use a tenderloin that is relatively uniform in thickness.
- If your tenderloin is very thin, reduce the cooking time slightly.
- You can substitute the herbs with your favorite pork rub mixture.
