Description

A simple recipe for cooking a tender and juicy pork tenderloin in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pork tenderloin (about 1 to 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and thyme.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the pork tenderloin.
  4. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the entire surface of the pork.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place the seasoned tenderloin in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry for 18 to 25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the tenderloin.
  8. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should read 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part.
  9. Remove the pork from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For best results, use a tenderloin that is relatively uniform in thickness.
  • If your tenderloin is very thin, reduce the cooking time slightly.
  • You can substitute the herbs with your favorite pork rub mixture.
