Simple recipe for making crispy chicken nuggets in an air fryer.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dip each piece of chicken first into the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
- Dredge the chicken in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly so the crumbs adhere.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the breaded chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary. Do not overcrowd.
- Spray the tops of the nuggets lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C).
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the nuggets again before the final flip.
- Serve with your preferred dipping sauce like ketchup or honey mustard.
