Description
Crispy cauliflower florets coated in spicy buffalo sauce, cooked quickly in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for richer sauce)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the cold water and whisk until a thin batter forms. Do not overmix.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Place the battered florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 10 minutes.
- Flip the florets and air fry for another 5 to 8 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
- While the cauliflower cooks, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter (if using) in a bowl.
- Transfer the hot, cooked cauliflower to the sauce bowl and toss gently to coat completely.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray the battered florets lightly with cooking spray before the first air fry cycle.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce based on your preferred spice level.
