- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from wok.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and onion to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return beef to the wok.
- In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour over beef and vegetables.
- Stir-fry until sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute other vegetables like snap peas, carrots, or mushrooms.
- Adjust soy sauce and oyster sauce to your taste.
